• Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black;
• Accessories: Cappuccino Twine from The Twinery; Spellbinders dies; buttons, foam tape; Copic markers; Sandpaper.

Stampin' Sisterhood Sunday Challenge #SS18

It is time for the monthly Stampin Sisterhood Challenge from Rubbernecker Stamps!

Here is our challenge inspiration:

Well, I drew from the RED, the three and yummyness.  (If "yummyness" is not a word--and my spell check says it is not--it really should be!)

 I love coffee stamps (as you might be able to tell by my little cursor *grin*).  In the new sentiments from Rubbernecker there is cheap coffee SKU:628-08.  This new, fun stamp was also inspiration for this card.


Ingredients:

• Stamps: (all from Rubbernecker.com) Cheap Coffee (SKU: 682-08);  Coffee Bean Background (SKU: 201-01); Coffeetime Set (SKU: 458);
• Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Fluid Chalk Ink Dark Brown; Tim Holtz Distress Ink: Antique Linen and Walnut Stain;
• Paper: Stella & Rose "Gertie"; Bristol Paper (cups); Recollection's Kraft; Bazzill-Dark Brown; 
• Accessories: Flower (EK Success); foam Tape; ribbon; felt hearts trim;

Stamps: Garden Phrase Set SKU:508; Fall Floral SKU:479; 
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress ink: bundled sage and worn lipstick; Adirondack Ice Cap;
Paper: Pink: Bazzill; White; Georgia Pacific;
Accessories: button; embroidery floss; circle,  scalloped circle and border punches; label die; paper flowers; liquid pearls; white embossing powder;

I stamped the pink cardstock with the background stamp inked in white and heat embossed with white.  The flowers were colored with cotton swabs inked with distress ink and rubbed onto the images.

Do what you love!

Sometimes all it takes is a quite moment and a good cup of coffee to make everything seem possible again!  That was the inspiration behingd this card:

The images are from Starving Artistamps!
The mom is "Madge" from the Doodlefactory "Tis the Season" set.  And the porch swing is from the Juniper and Jupiter "Swingers" set.

The coolest thing about the "Swingers" set is that the other sitting images from DoodleFactory and Juniper and Jupiter all fit on the swing and bench!!!  VERY COOL!

• Madge and the bench were colored with Copic markers.   
• I stamped the images with Memento ink on Bristol (Smooth) paper.  
• The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye and Cosmo cricket.   
• The sentiment embellishment is from Making Memories.
• The card is a 5" x 7" card.

I just hope my Mother's Day weekend has a quiet moment like this one--but it isn't likely.
