Squirrely Hello

I have received my “Into the Woods” DoodleFactory Stamps and had to get them inky a.s.a.p.!!!!

To get me started I have combined a couple of challenges:

  1. Sharon’s Stamp Simply #102 to step out of your comfort zone. I did this by using THREE patterned papers, and about double the embellishments and layers I normally do.
  2. Get Sketchy #3—A new sketch challenge blog :

Here is my card:

GS3-SSNOTIME102-Hello (2)

This squirrel is just so cute!!  He kind of reminds me of a squirrel that my family dubbed “No Fear Squirrel” that would sit at my glass door to my kitchen and watch me have my morning coffee many mornings last summer.

Materials: Stamps: DoodleFactory “Into the Woods” from Starving Artistamps (use the code “savetenJS” to receive a 10% discount on these stamps)

Papers: Prism and DCWV solid cardstock; We R Memory Keepers and 3 Bugs in a Rug patterned paper;

Ink: Memento-Rich Cocoa; Prismacolor and Copic markers;

Accessories: Grungeboard minis; Lemonade paint dabber; Glossy Accents; jewels; Prima flower; Nestabilities; sandpaper;

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog to look!  I hope you have a great weekend!!

  6. Julianna, this certainly doesn't look like you stepped out of your comfort zone! It's a fabulous card! So well put together and I had to come visit your blog to check out what paper you used - really love it! I think stepping out of our comfort zones once in a while makes us better designers. :) Have a great weekend!
