Hello Ladybug!

Happy Friday!!
A Day for Daisies is featuring some adorable ladybug images this week!

I had such fun with "Ladybug Hello":
This little girl and her two winged friends are colored with Copic markers.

I printed out the image another time on plain copy paper (I also changed the print color to a light grey) to create a mask.   I placed the mask on the main image and taped the edges so I could sponge and spritz with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and home made pearly spray.

Please take the time to check out what the rest of the design team has created:

You light up my life!

Happy Friday!

Here in southern Michigan we have had evening just bursting with fireflies.

The "puppy" we are caring for this summer (130 lbs. of pure chocolate lab love) delights in chasing them, making the summer evenings even sweeter.

Which drew me to the A Day for Daisies image Night Gnome:
Like a firefly, this little gnome lights the way!

He is colored with Copics, and his lantern has a touch of Stickles and then the glass is covered with  Liquidtex gloss medium

There are beautiful creations to see on the blogs of my fellow design team members, too:

And now these three remain:
Faith, Hope, and Love.
But the greatest of these if Love.
