Also, this week, is the beginning of a new challenge on the A Day for Daisies Blog! "Anything goes" this week!
Today I am so excited to share the Wild Purple Fairy with you:
She was so wonderful to color! She is just blooming in the garden!
I have used the "out of the box" technique with the die to cut out this fairy:
You are going to be in awe of what my design teammates have created:1. Cut a scrap piece of paper with the desired oval (Spellbinder’s Classic Oval) and place the scrap on the image where you want the oval to be.2. Lightly with a pencil, trace around the oval the parts of the image that intersect with the image.3. Lay the die itself on the image and again LIGHTLY with a pencil a, trace the oval where the image intersects.4. Any part of the image that crosses the outside line must be cut out: Cut with a craft knife around the image to the inside line.5. The die over the image and carefully lift out all of the cut out portions so they are resting on top of the die.6. Run image through die cut machine.
