And the Cow...

...jumped over the moon!
One of my favorite parts of being around little ones is the reading books and nursery rhymes while rocking and snuggling.  "Hey Diddle Diddle" is a classic, with a great rhythm.

This sweet cow from rubbernecker just screamed "moon jumper" to me.

The cow is colored with colored pencils and the moon is covered with Stickles (glitter glue).
  • Stamps: Cow (SKU:569-06) and sentiment both from Rubbernecker Stamp Company;
  • Ink: StazOn Jet Black; Tim Holtz Antique Linen (for edges)
  • Paper: Patterned Paper from K and Company;
  • Accessories: Spellbinders dies, foam tape, Prismacolor Pencils, sandpaper, Stickles, circle and border punches from EK Success;

Thanks for stopping by!

The Forgetful Elephant

 Today, I was inspired by this weeks sketch at Card Positioning Systems (CPS).

Here is the sketch #226:
And here is my card:

  •  Stamps: Elephant (SKU:569-09); and Sorry (SKU:568-03) both from Rubbernecker Stamp Company;
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black;
  • Paper: K and Company and HOTP patterned paper;  DCWV embossed card;
  • Accessories: Copic markers, google eyes, foam tape, Coluzzle templates, CuttleBug embossing folder, Spellbinders die; embroidery floss;
 Unfortunately, I am one of those people that ONLY needs to make belated birthday matter how hard I try...they are late.  Hopefully the sweet look on this elephant will encourage forgiveness and understanding.

 Thank you so much for stopping by, and thanks to the CPS team for this wonderful challenge!

Perty, Flirty and Beautiful!

The Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger this week is Perty and Flirty:
For me, yellow is a challenge--I do not use it much.  I really liked the tailored ruffles and the pink floral I drew from them for inspiration as well!

  • Stamps: Scooter Kids: Olivia (SKU:570-12); Sentiment: Beautiful (SKU:582-04); both are from Rubbernecker Stamp Company (2011 releases);
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black;
  • Paper: Patterned paper by K and Co.; Cardstock from Bazzill, DCWV, and Colorbok;
  • Accessories: Colored pencils; Copic markers; Dies from Sizzix (Tim Holtz Rosette) and Spellbinders; Foam tape, buttons (threaded with thin strips of cardstock); Flower Soft;
 I had such fun stepping out of my comfort zone with this little cutie!!  Thanks for stopping by!
