Good Shoes

Today is going to be an interesting Friday!  Friday the 13th with a full moon!

If I were superstitious I would just hide in my studio and stamp...  I may just do that anyway!

Have you seen the amazing images Tammy from A Day For Daisies has created for the June Club Kit!   It is all about good shoes!

Today I am using "Favorite Knee Highs" from A Day for Daisies:

Our challenge (#98) this week was to use faux stitching.  I used a bit of faux stitching and a bit of real stitching.

You can see them all the images at the A Day for Daisies Store.

Thank you, Teacher!

Today is the last day of school for my youngest child.

This year she has been blessed with such talented and caring teachers!
I wanted to take the time to let them know how much I appreciated the care they have given to the education of my child.

I found this image at Tiddly Inks: teacher.
The image was colored with Copic markers.

The globe is accented with a little dab of Stickles (glitter glue).
When it was dry I covered the globe and the apple with some gloss medium.

I made two of these and they went with my daughter to school, today!

Trust in Him

Trust in Him at all times,
Pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us.
~Psalm 62:8

I am playing with the Rubbernecker watercolor floral stamps again.

This time I have used Fall Tree:
I inked the stamp with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink pad and then with a fine paint brush and re-inker ink I added the details with Gathered Twigs, Crushed Olive and Peeled Paint. The image was misted then stamped onto watercolor paper.

The sentiment (Trust in Him) was stamped with Dark Brown Fluid Chalk Ink.

The background stamp (Brushed Hearts) was inked randomly with all the colors of the tree, misted thoroughly and then stamped onto watercolor paper.

Strength and Dignity

She is clothed in strength dignity and she laughs without fear of the future
~Proverbs 31:25

Today's card uses Rubbernecker watercolor floral stamps with a Proverbs 31 verse:
I used Bunch of Poppies from Rubbernecker.

The blossoms were inked first with Barn Door Distress ink, stamped off (on a scrap piece of office paper) and then inked with Festive Berries. The stems are inked with Bundled Sage.

Before stamping I misted the stamp with colorless shimmer spray (Perfect Pearls and water).  The result is a shimmery watercolor effect. (I am not good at photographing the shimmer.)

The sentiment She is Clothed was stamped with Archival Jet Black.

Thank you for stopping by, today!
