More Than Ice Cream!

The "May Flowers Challenge" is still on over at the Hambo Hoedown!
Just use flowers in some way on a Hambo Stamps project! (there are a couple of freebies available on the site if you don't have a Hambo image, yet)

Here is my second May Flowers card (using Ice Cream Man):

"More than ice cream" is a pretty high compliment in our house! ;)

I hope you can come over to the Hambo Hoedown Blog and join us for the "May Flowers Challenge"!!

Have a great day (perhaps with ice cream)!
Thank you for stopping by my blog!

Summer is…

There are many many positive things about summer.  That being said, I have to admit that there are a few things that BUG me about summer.

(as usual, pun intended)

2s4u-Drinks all around!

This was inspired by the 2 Sketches 4 You sketch (and the couple dozen mosquitoes that the kids so graciously invited into our home).

Materials:

Stamps: mimo, Squitos, and tent, all by DoodleFactory; and Tropical Sentiment All from Starving Artistamps;

Paper: Prism: Super Smooth White and Tawny Light; Old Olive (SU!) and DP (?);

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Tim Holtz Distress ink: Shabby Shutters and Broken China;

Accessories; Nestabilities; word window punch; foam tape; sponge; paper for masking; Copic markers;

Wanna see more with this sketch?!?  Our team all took a go at this fun sketch—what a wonderfully creative bunch!!

You can see all of our creations at one place: Starving Artistamps Gallery Blog;

Or check out our individual blogs (the list is over there==>).

Thanks for stopping by!

I am posting this on Memorial Day (though you feedblitz people won’t see this till later)…I hope you take some time to remember the folks who made this country safe and free in the past and those who are fighting in the name of freedom today.  Thank you to those who serve—and the families who support them!!!
