I have used the lovely: "Fashion in a Cloud"!

I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas!

...only a hippopotamus will do!

For Christmas I like "Hippo Presents" from Hambo!  (much more manageable than a real live hippopotamus!)

This one also uses "Fireplace Stockings":

Today at A Day for Daisies there is a  BEAUTIFUL new release!

This is my card using the beautiful "Wild Star Nymph" image.
She is colored with Copic markers.  Inspired by my fellow design team member, Danielle, I used my Prismacolor pencils to create a light background.

O Christmas Tree...

I have another beautiful Christmas project featuring an "A Day For Daisies" image.
The image is "Vintage Tree Party".  This image reminds me of all the old Christmas movies I love to watch year after year.
There is a new challenge over on the "A Day For Daisies" blog!  It is to use gingham on your project.
I am looking forward to seeing what you create!

Merry Christmas

I really like the chalkboard style!

I found it was fun and simple to do myself!
The Merry Christmas Stamp (MC Ivy Block 657-06) was inked with Versamark and stamped on black cardstock.  I used white embossing powder to heat emboss the image.

After it had cooled, I used a Spellbinders die, I die cut and embossed the label.

 Then I put a little white pigment ink on a paper towel and misted the towel with water (so it would blend and not be too thick) and rubbed some areas of the label with the towel.  Just enough for it too look like chalk dust!

Other card details:

  • Stamps: MC Ivy Block 657-06; Silent Night 654; Floral Damask 679; Holly Panel 487; (Can you tell I love background stamps!?!)
  • Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink: Antique Linen, Peeled Paint and Frayed Burlap; Versamark; Copic markers for coloring the holly; Adirondack Pigment Ink: Snow Cap;
  • Cardstock: Kraft, black, white, light red;
  • Accessories: white embossing powder; foam tape; Spellbinders die; Twinery bakers twine;

The main image on this card is going to be tags for my daughter's teacher's gifts this year!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

BTW, have you checked out Papercraft 4 Less, yet??  It is the new papercrafting supply site from Rubbernecker!!

It's Okay, I am a Doctor

Well, I am not a doctor... but my sister-in-law is in medical school and has requested "doctor" themed cards for Christmas.
Enter, "Wee Henry Doctor"!
He is cute, and ready to get down to business!

Since my sister-in-law also requested that the cards be humorous, the Bacon Bits are helping me come up some more funny captions/sentiments.

Card Details:
Papers: Bazzill cardstock (colored); Me and My Big Ideas patterned paper; and Georgia Pacific white cardstock;
Accessories: brads; foam tape;

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  If you have a funny sentiment for a doctor to doctor card, please let me know! ;)
