Ham & Bacon Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Ham and (Kevin) Bacon Blog hop!

If you are looking for today's A Day for Daisies post, click here.

You should have come from the Hambo Hoedown Blog (if not you might just want to head back there so you do not miss a thing).

Here is my card:

Can you guess the movie inspiration???
Yup!  Tremors! (the original -- not any later versions ;) )

For the card I used "Rattler" by Hambo Stamps.

Interesting fact:  I am two degrees from Kevin Bacon!  I (as stage manager and light board op.) worked with Calista Flockhart in Bovver Boys, an off Broadway production in 1990 and she was in movie Telling Lies in America with Kevin in 1997.
Ready for more  HAM & BACON!?!
Please continue on to Lisa Cassidy's Blog -- "My Lil' Bits"!

There will be a shopping spree awarded to one hopper who leaves comments along the way!!
All the details are available at the beginning of the hop on the Hambo Hoedown Blog!

Swing into Spring!

There are definite signs of spring showing themselves in Michigan!

There is something about spring that takes me back to my childhood.   One of the marks of spring was a snow-free playground at school.  The best part of the playground was the swings!!

I love pumping and getting above the bar, and then sometimes just gliding back and forth!

This image, Easter Day from A Day for Daisies, reminds of that free feeling:
This sweet girl is enjoying the breeze and imagining flying over the trees!!

She is colored with Copic markers and cut out.  The background was created with an ink blending tool and a scrap of paper punched with a scalloped circle.

Need more spring!?!?
