You Are Loveable!!

I thought I would take a crack at week’s Get Sketchy layout:

Here is my take:

• Ink: StazOn Jet Black; Tim Holtz Distress Inks for watercoloring; Fluid Chalk Ink: Dark Brown and Chestnut Roan;
• Other Items: Coluzzle template; corner rounder; Perfect Pearls (perfect pearl);

I haven’t spent time with my first (coloring) love, watercolor—so I thought I would risk it with this cute walrus!  Not seen on this photo the ice and the walrus’s tusks are highlighted with Perfect Pearls.

It’s Your Day To Shine!

This week the Stampin’ Sisters in Christ challenge is to use a touch of green in a card.  Here is my card:

• Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black;
• Paper: Prism cardstock and My Mind’s Eye dp;
• Other Items:  Stickles, Prismacolor pencils; Copic Markers; Spellbinders die;

I used a combination of pencils and markers to color this sweetie!  Using them together (markers first—always) extends the colors and color values of both my pencils and markers.

Happy Monday!

I have a couple of cheery cards to share with you today!  They use the same main image, but I had so much fun with this little guy—I couldn’t stop at just one card!!

Both cards use the Tuneful Teddy stamp—he is just so cute.  The CAS card uses the Victorian Pattern Panel background stamp and the sentiment on the second card is: Sharing text (all stamps from Rubbernecker Stamp Company).

The first card is colored with pencils and the second with markers.

I finally got back to the studio after the holidays, sick kids, and other family obligations!  WOO HOO!  It feels good to get inky again.
