I must resist!

One of my absolute favorite stamping techniques is embossing resist.

time togethertree

In this example I have stamped the tree image (Rubbernecker Stamp: Flourish Tree SKU:556) on to some Basic Grey patterned paper.

detailThen I sponged Vintage Photo and Tea Dye inks (Tim Holtz Distress ink) over the tree.

The sentiment (Rubbernecker Stamp: Butterflies are Free Set SKU:538) is stamped with ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink in Dark Brown.  The ink stamps over the embossing and is permanent.

The Details:

  • Stamps: Flourish Tree-SKU:556; Butterflies are Free Set-SKU:538; both from Rubbernecker;
  • Paper: Patterned: Basic Grey, My Mind’s Eye and Bo Bunny; Solid: Bazzill;
  • Inks: Tea Dye and Vintage Photo Tim Holtz Distress ink; Dark Brown  Fluid Chalk Ink; Versamark;
  • Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, foam tape, sponges, Stickles;

Thank you for stopping by today!
