A Head's UP!

Have you ever wanted to go to a stamp show and visit all the fascinating stamp vendors--BUT there is never one near you??  Or perhaps (like me) you hate paying for parking and for the privilege of walking in the door.  Well, the folks at Rubber Stamp  Chat have an answer for you....

A VIRTUAL Convention!!!  WOOO HOOO!!

Check out BOTH pages of vendors--and YES!  Starving Artistamps is there!!!  Well, HERE. Winking

It looks like some great deals there.  So check it out. No high gas prices, no dragging the dh or kids along, and FREE PARKING!!!!

On another note--my poll is still open till Saturday (here).  It is an anonymous poll and just for FUN!  I am a bit puzzled why about 70 people have looked but only 16 voted.  I am thinkin' that there are bunches of people who have no opinion, or hated both cards, or the widget doesn't work on some browsers???

Have a happy Friday and weekend.  If I get through my mountain of laundry--perhaps I will have something stamped to show you!

Which one???

I made two cards for my nephew (who came one week ago today! WOO HOO!!!!) and now I cannot decide which one to send to him (and My brother and sister-in-law).  Soooooo YOU get to help me choose.

Both cards were done as a part of the featured stamper challenge over at SplitCoastStampers.  They CASE this card, and this card.

FS87 Baby BlessingsFS87 Sleeping Baby Boy

So this is my first ever poll!!! Which card do you think. I am leaning toward one, but I am curious to see what other's think.

This very well could be my last nephew.  No pressure!!

Thanks for your input.  Feel free to leave a comment expounding on your vote!

A little more Mojo...

I thought I would give Julee's Mojo Monday #55 another shot!  I think I followed the sketch a little more closely!!  It was also great fun since I got to use a couple of my favorite stamps.  I love all the silhouette flowers from Starving Artistamps--but this one is one of my favorites--It is a little tricky to find on the website--because it is one page over from the rest.  You can find the Queen Anne's Lace, HERE.

Another one of my favorite stamps is the Fern Leaf Tooled Leather Background stamp.  It is so versatile!  Sometimes I quickly watercolor between the leaves--but today--it was quick and fun. (and remember if you are interested in these stamps you can get them at 10% off by clicking on the button on the right!=>)

CC186-Mojo55 God Bless

Materials:

Stamps: Queen Ann's Lace Silhouette; Fern Leaf Tooled Leather Background; Sentiment from the Faith Sentiment Set; (all from Starving Artistamps)

Paper: Pearlescent Cream; Really Rust and Chocolate Chip (SU!); The blue is the reverse side of the dp by Wild Asparagus.

Ink: Chocolate Chip and Really Rust  (SU!)

Accessories: Corner, tab, and scallop square punches; hardware from CTMH; foam tape, sponge;

I think practice does help--I do like how this card turned out a bit better!

Thanks for stopping by!
