Beautiful Birds

Happy Friday!
Around our house there is a lot of happy hustle and bustle as we get our home ready for Christmas!

Here is a card, partly inspired by decorating and partly by SplitCoastStampers CAS #303.
I have used A Day for DaisiesBirds in My Heart:
The large dots were made with a stencil, sponged VersaMark, and Perfect Pearls.  The smaller ones were made with Stickles (glitter glue).

A deer for every season...

The A Day for Daisies December club kit has some BEAUTIFUL images!
This week I am using Blossom Deer.

I was torn on how to use him.  Whether to use his garland as Christmas ivy (or perhaps mistletoe) or as a Spring blossom garland.  When in doubt, choose BOTH!!

The precious fawn in winter (Liquid Applique snow):

And in Spring(studded with Liquid Pearls):

Both are highlighted with Stickles and colored with Copic markers.

Beauty, Style, and Grace

Happy Friday to you!!!

Tammy, from A Day for Daisies, has created a new group of images that are bound to strike a nostalgic chord!  This time of year when I was young, list-making was an important activity!  For me, Barbie was on that list!

This image, Doll Face 3, was a joy to color:

For this card I used the sketch #178 from Deconstructed sketches:

The Great Pumpkin

Anyone else in the United States have happy memories of watching "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" on t.v.?

That is what this image (Pumpkin Head Girl from A Day for Daisies) brought to my mind.  She is sitting in the pumpkin patch in her princess/pumpkinhead costume waiting for a visit from the "Great Pumpkin"!
She is confidant that the "Great Pumpkin" will not pass by her!
There are more great pumpkin heads here:

Raggedy Boo!

Happy Friday!
My kids have always enjoyed dressing up in costumes!  I have some great memories of butterflies, angels, patriots, firefighters, princesses, Dorothy of Kansas and many more...

I think this little "Dancing Pumpkin Head 2" from A Day for Daises is just too cute dressed as Raggedy Ann!

She is peaking out of this card to say "Boo!" to you!

I popped up the image in layers with foam tape:
