Sounds like something I would tell my kids...except there would be more capital letters and an exclamation point. Instead, this is a reminder to myself--that hurrying, being busy, and moving forward is not always the way to go.
And out of this thought, came this card:
The layout came from this weeks Sketch Challenge at SCS.
The main flower is embossed with copper embossing powder and watercolored.
Materials Used:
- Stamps: tight weave background, sunflower and seeds(p20.11 and p10.12), and Sentiment from Faith sentiments set;
- Paper: watercolor paper, Sahara Sand (SU!); lime and olive from Bazzill;
- Ink: various Tim Holtz Distress Inks and VersaMark;
- Accessories: ribbon, copper ep, watercolor brush, sponge, foam tape;
