I know there are people out that that don't like cake.  My son and my mother-in-law are not huge fans (which leaves more for ME!).  But I really do like cake.  I am not usually a fan of the fancy bakery sheet cakes (not that I would turn them away, mind you).  But a good old fashioned Bundt cake or a layer cake brings a smile to my face.

My younger dd has a birthday party to go to today--so I had a good excuse to pull out my Eat Cake Graphics stamps.  Puppies and cake--such a beautiful pair!

I love this little guy. I sure hope he gets some cake, too!

I also decided to play some more with my alcohol markers.  My coloring is not perfect, but I am pleased with my progress.  Leaving a little white is a challenge to me--but I have noticed that the *pros* do that.

The card base is an embossed card that I got in a box from Die Cuts With a View (DCWV).  I find them VERY handy for birthday cards.

Thanks for stopping by!

What a totally darling b'day card! I love that stamp & sentiment... and what a cool idea to use a purchased note card!

Whaaat? Your coloring is impeccable - I aspire to this sort of coloring some day! I also like the way that sentiment is laid out (AND I'm a big fan of cake myself).
