One Layer Crafty Secrets

Over in the Crafty Secrets Forum of SplitCoastStampers, they have challenges.  AND since my Crafty Secrets stamps haven't seen much ink (one set was still in the package--YIKES!)  I thought I NEEDED to participate.

This is really last week's challenge--One Layer Cards--and I made these cards this weekend.  BUT with some extra drama in the Swanson household--they just didn't get posted.

I think one layer cards are difficult because there is no moving *stuff* around to get the layout right.  They require a bit of *vision* prior to putting ink to paper.  Frankly, I don't think that far ahead--so that is the TRUE challenge.

I think WOW!!! These are both awesome!! You didn't have them linked on the CS forum post so here I am to get a close up look ... WOW! You did a great job on these 1-layer cards ... perfect!! Are those all liquid pearls?? How do you get them so evenly sized? Practice probably ... I just started using liquid pearls and not real good with them yet. Awesome job ... thanks for playing the challenge ... PLEASE come back ... such fun!!

I LOVE the pink card. Fabulous in fact. I agree that the one layer cards require a bit of forethought, but you did a great job. Love the shoe and the pearls.

That is quite a challenge - not one I had thought of before but I can see where it could be difficult. You sure did an amazing job!
