Happy Easter!
One of my favorite parts of Easter is going to church, and upon hearing “He is Risen!” to reply “He is Risen, indeed!”
Yeah, the liturgy is old fashioned and to some, corny, but it sincerely brings joy into my heart.
Now, onto the card:
The cross is made from the five flowers of the DoodleFactory Easter Collection. Yes, once again , I love the flexibility of UNmounted stamps!! I placed all five flowers on one block and stamped at once. The flowers were colored with Copic markers.
The layout for this card comes from Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #63.
Materials Used:
- Stamps: Easter Flowers by the DoodleFactory; Sentiment: All about Easter from Starving Artistamps;
- Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black;
- Paper: Prism: Iced Orange and Iced Pink';
- Accessories: Prima flower, circle and scallop circle punch; Copic markers; May Arts Ribbon; Cuttlebug embossing folder;
I tried to keep the embellishments to a minimum to keep the main image as the focus.
I hope you have a WONDERFUL Easter!!

Terrific card, I LOVE how you created the cross!!!
What a creative way to make a cross! I love it!
And I feel the same way about Easter and saying "He is Risen Indeed, Alleluia!" It's an amazing feeling and an amazing blessing. :-)
He is risen, indeed!
And oh what a wonderful impression of The Cross you have created! This makes me smile from the inside, Jules.
