Flower Bouquet Portrait

Here in the United States, it is a kind of day of remembrance.
I hope you have a moment, today, to remember what is important and have an opportunity to spend some extra moments with those you love.  If you would like, I would love to hear your 9/11 story in the comments area below.

I am excited to share another card from the September 2015 Club Kit:
She (Flower Fairy Bouquet Portrait) is colored with Copic markers.

The color inspiration came from the Color Throwdown  #359:

AND it is time for another challenge on the A Day for Daisies Blog!!  Frame it!!
There are some beautiful framed masterpieces on the blogs of my fellow team members:
Alison
Arielle
Broni

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

It was a day of remembrance for the whole world because it was a tragedy which forever changed everything.
Your card is lovely and I am really liking these new fairy girls. Great design and papers too.

Gorgeous design! Love your soft coloring on the fairy image. Thanks for joining us at The Color Throwdown!

I was teaching kindergarten on 9/11 in a school just a few miles from the Pentagon. Though we didn't know it at the time, we heard the plane hit the building. Our school remained open through the day since there was no way to know how many of the parents were involved either as victims or as first responders and no one wanted to send children home to uncertainty. It was one of the hardest days of my teaching career, trying to keep up a brave face in front of young children who knew something was very wrong, even though they didn't know exactly what was going on.
