Late Inspiration

I had a bit of basement drama this week.  A small drip in my stamp area--which incurred minimal damage--and is now fixed.  But I was unable to concentrate and complete my project for the Rubbernecker Blogger Challenge (RBC).

The RBC #9 was hosted by Broni Holcombe.  She has a MARVELOUS inspiration piece posted:

And here is my card:

RBC09-Pine Peace

I inked the Pine Sprig with Tea Dye then Peeled Paint Tim Holtz Distress Inks.  I quickly embossed the image with clear embossing powder.  I  I then masked a square, and sponged Peeled Paint, Faded Jeans and Broken China--Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

I stamped the Music Background with Tea Dye over top.  The sentiment-Scroll Peace is also stamped with Tea Dye.

It is a great inspiration piece--that could go in sooo many directions.  I hope you head on over to the Rubbernecker Stamp Company Blog and add a link to your own card in the comments section.

Stupid leaky pipes can really put a damper on things (ok that was bad, but I speak from experience!)

You still ended up with a beautiful card.
