You’re Heaven Sent!

Ever since I saw these clouds and halo stamps back in October—my mind has ideas floating around in it.  And today, the ideas *POPPED* out.

You re Heaven Sent!

Yes, it is a little silly to imagine “Mimo” with butterfly wings (p.3.6-dido) and a halo, but then, I can be silly, too.

The sentiment is a combination of two of the Heaven Sent Sentiments

TIP:  I stamped “You’re” first.  I had only inked the one word and lined up the sentiment with one line on the block—so that the bottom edge of the words hit the line.  The lower line on my block (If your clear blocks don’t have lines—clear tape works, too!) with the lower edge of my paper.  Then I aligned the “Heaven Sent” the same way.    Since I was using the entire sentiment of the second phrase, it was easy to see the spacing  between “You’re” and “Heaven”.  Reason #12 of why I LOVE unmounted stamps!!

Mimo was colored with Copic Markers, as were the Clouds.  The halo and wings were stamped on velum.  The halo was colored with a silver gel pen.  The wings were stamped with Shell Pink Pigment Ink and embossed with polysparkle embossing powder.

The colored cardstock is Prism: Twilight Blue and Nautical Blue Dark.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope Mimo made you smile—he always makes me smile.

BTW: I have been asked a few times about how I do clouds…and I want you to know that a tutorial is coming.  So stay tuned!
