Treasure, Blog Candy, and a Spider!

AARG it is Treasure Hunt Tuesday...but first..
I currently find spiders annoying. Since my stamp area is in my basement--I often have them as my uninvited companions. Small ones, mind you, but they still spin webs. Eeew!
This little guy, however, is just too cute! He is by Stamp Oasis by Rubbernecker. I stamped him with StazOn onto glossy white cardstock and highlighted him with white crayon. I brayered Broken China ink over the image. Then I wiped off the crayon, and added Shabby Shutters ink to the eyes with a q-tip. I then sponged the edges with Black Soot and splattered some ink on the image with Larry's toothbrush. (Who is Larry?? Someone who needs to get a new tooth brush-tee hee).

Ok, I seriously do NOT like spiders and find them downstairs all the time! Little ones, black ones, furry ones...... of course none of them are bigger than my little fingernail, but still!!! lol

Your spider, on the other hand, is darling and he can come to my house anytime!!

{Belated birthday wishes to your DH! I know it was almost 2 weeks ago, but forgot to tell you!!}

Love the cutie spider (not the big one that crawled across my floor last night...).

I posted a Rubbernecker card yesterday: http://mamadinis.blogspot.com/2008/08/whats-up.html
I'd love the chance to get some more, though I never ever win drawings... - thanks for the giveaway!

Cute card! I HATE spiders too... but I am the one anyone screams for when they see one because I am not so scared I won't smash em or take em outside (depending on type/size)

Great spider card...Poor Larry...The kids are always getting new brushes here, like character ones. I take them and use the old ones for cleaning and the littlest one age 5, used to get upset when I did that to his favorite character tooth brush..Hee hee, the old ones work great for misc. cleaning things...even toilets...

Not a big fan of spiders but I gotta admit that yours is adorable but you can keep him at your house. I wouldn't want him to bring any of his friends to mine.

Super cute card!!! We have had so many spiders in our house this year...maybe it is the wet weather? Wish they would go away! :0) Thanks for the chance at blog candy!

What a darling card! I love the spider and your technique. I will have to check out the tutorial on the spring card. Spiders are a bit like mice. I love them on cards and in figurines, but can't stand them in real life. Thanks for the chance to win!
